Engine 4-3 served as the department's front line pumper from the time it was placed in service until October 2001 when the current Engine 4-1 was placed into service. Engine 4-3 continued to serve as the department's secondary engine until it was retired on December 21, 2011 and replaced with the 2012 International/4-Guys tanker that currently serves as Tanker 4.

It is currently owned and maintained by a life member of the department.
